Invitation to Submit Abstract
The Asia Pacific Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (APATAP) Committee is excited to announce our 2022 Virtual Conference.
The conference is open to a range of themes and topic relating to threat assessment and management.
We are inviting presentation proposals on current trends of threat assessment. Sessions can be in a number of formats, including panel discussions, case studies, research findings, and presentations. We encourage presenters from a diverse range of backgrounds, including law enforcement, corporate security, social media, forensic mental health, and academia.
Presenters can submit their abstract by following the link at the bottom of this page. Our self-explanatory form should help you.
All topics in the area of threat assessment and management are welcome at the conference. The list below provides a sample of program topics:
Closing date for submissions is 15 November 2022.
All presentation will be conducted over Zoom or similar webinar platform.
While you will be asked to indicate your preferred presentation format, the program committee may request an alternative format be considered. The Committee will allocate presentations to the program taking into account the preference of authors and the balance of the program.

The Program Committee will review all submitted abstracts. The Committee may make recommendations regarding the presentation format or presentation structure to suit the audience better.
All presenters will be required to register for the symposium and pay the appropriate registration fee.
Slides, Handouts and Recordings
Presenters are encouraged to circulate their PowerPoint slides or a conference paper after their presentation. Presenters can indicate their preference as to whether their presentation is recorded for registrants who were unable to attend the session live. Recordings will be uploaded onto an online platform where downloading will be disabled.
The Program Committee will publish the program one week after the submission closes. Presenters may be allocated a speaking time on either 17 or 18 February 2022.
